Application and Joining Process Explained:

1. Click the yellow banner above to go directly to our unit's "Be a Scout" registration site. 

2. Complete the "Youth" online application and pay needed registration fees as prompted. 

3. A Pack 256 Den Leader will be assigned to your child(ren) and will be in contact with you.

4. Join our private Pack Facebook page.

5. Ensure you set up an account for yourself as parent and then for your child in Scoutbook to follow along with your child's advancement activities and access the Pack calendar.  

What is the financial cost to join?

At Registration the following fees apply: 

1. National Dues

2. Scout Life Subscription

3. Insurance Fee

4. Programing Fee

5. Uniform costs

If you are in a situation that necessitates a need for review of fees, please reach out to us. We believe that no child should be denied scouting due to inability to pay upfront.
